This is a series I’m truly enjoying! The characters are all parents and trying to juggle their everyday lives - parenting, dating after divorce or the loss and f a spouse, and work demands. I love how true to life their situations are even if their lives or standard of living is a little different than average.

Jenna and Adam were fantastic. Their texting relationship made a big difference in each of them before they even meet in real life. Adam’s fear of being rejected by Jenna just because it was him (Dance Douche) made his behavior (hiding his identity from her and pretending to be a different Adam)a little more acceptable for me.

Jenna was definitely uptight and finding out why she was this way tugged a my heart. It was hard to hear her describe being on the outside of the dance mom group and the subject of gossip, meanwhile Priscilla was accepted by these people. Ugh! I so wanted to see karma serve Priscilla a big public comeuppance, but I will accept the ‘something’ that happens to her.

The fact Olivia and Maya were so clued into their parents texting was great. These teen girls really wanted to be sisters and their parents to be happy. So sweet. Little Miguel was a charmer like his dad!

I think this book was my favorite in the series so far, but I adored the scene where Adam sought advice from Hudson. Even though their story has some parallels, secret identity communicating with their lady, it was still fresh and sun storytelling.

Looking forward to the next book in the series. I’m becoming a big fan of the author with this series!
