The grass isn't greener on the other side when your whole world is torched earth.
Some people don't like Esther. I love her, and this volume is very Esther heavy and I loved it all. Maybe even my favorite volume so far? Seriously, read this series.

This book is still one of my favorites in the series. I love Esther and I love that this volume centers her. This volume is one of the most memorable for me because it sets up so many points later in the series. I love these girls (& McGraw & Ed) so much.

This volume was really good. There was a lot of stuff happening, and the friendship definitely grew. The battle for housing was hilarious.

I really love this comic series. The art is gorgeous, the dialogue is fantastic, and it fills the 'college shenanigans' hole in my heart left empty by 2000s-era movies.

Four volumes down, eight to go. I think this was definitely my favorite volume yet. I've gotten so attached to all of the characters that I almost feel like I am experiencing freshman year along with Susan, Esther and Daisy. Although I feel like I know each of them a lot already, I love learning more about them with each volume. We were left on yet another cliffhanger and I am dying to find out what happens next. The illustrations in this volume were also probably the best ones thus far.
