I'M SO TORN! I can definitely tell this has been reworked from a steamy NA to an erotic adult novel. I did not love the author's language choices around body parts. However, I really loved the plot and thought that the bones of the story were good!! Sexy court jester say LESS. Plus I would sell my soul for Nicu. But there also is the issue of how the secondary plot line of born souls was handled... unsure how I feel about that. Settling on a 3 star.

There are no words to describe reading this book. The language is antiquated, much more like how they spoke in medieval times and has an interesting take on the treatment of “fools” some parts had me rolling my eyes but altogether, in one of my top ten. I love a happy ending and this just scratched the itch. Got me out of a reading slump!!
