If you have never read a comic book before and you want to change that, then start with Ms Marvel. I can't even stress enough how important the character of Kamala Khan is for today's culture.

Great wrap-up with this arc. Since I'm not up on all the Marvel baddies, is The Inventor a new character or an old one bc what is he/it?

So it's not Kamala, it's actually "Kamelah" means perfect. Cool and weird name for our superhero!

"This is Jersey City. We talk loud, we walk fast, and we don't take any disrespect. Don't mess."

It's been a while since I have followed a comic series from either Marvel or DC. Of course I get hooked to the comic series that takes place in my hometown. I'm glad I finally got the chance to start reading this comic. Looking forward to future issues

Second time reading this issue, I didn't remember it in detail as it had been three or four years since I read it. Either way, I still love it. Kamal Khan is such a great character. Not only as a female superhero, but to come from an immigrant family, practice the Islamic religion, and be a teen, she is a much needed character. I have loved each issue and can't wait to finish the series.

"So this is totally happening. My first legit rescue as Ms. Marvel - and I get cornered by a bunch of creep robots and a guy with 1985 hair and a laser gun." If that doesn't make you laugh, nothing will. This is just one of many reasons why I love this comic series so much. And what a perfect way to end on a cliff-hanger: by introducing the super creepy villain.

"I’m not here to be a watered-down version of some other hero… I’m here to be the best version of Kamala."

"You don't have to be someone else to impress anybody. You are perfect just the way you are."

"Good is not a thing you are. It's a thing you do."
