Definitely not a fan of this book. Kuusisto seems like a nice guy, interesting even, but the book was written haphazardly. He failed to capture me, failed to make a point about actually being blind. The novel is basically just him whining about his life the whole time. I get that his life was hard but that doesn't make it particularly revelatory for the reader, does it?
