I went in with no expectations and was blown away by this book. By the end, I felt like I was friends with the characters. I became heavily invested in each of the characters. I love how the chapters jumped between present and past tense to provide greater insight. I cannot recommend this book enough!!

So cute and captivating. I love these characters. I love how the side characters weren’t even side characters, but they had lives and personalities of their own. A story about (mis)communication, growing up, and always finding a place where you belong with the people you love.

I enjoy Emily Henry books. This was good and I enjoyed reading it. I think Henry's books follow the same trope - the characters not talking and accepted their assumptions despite it being oblivious to others.

First review 🤩 I dont know if anyone cares about this book anymore but anyway. The only reason I didnt give it 0 stars is because it was readable, like bare minimum grammatically correct sentences. But I guess most published books have those so it shouldnt even contribute to the star rating WHATEVER this book is bad, bottom line it is not worth reading!! I think people who like these kinds of light romance books don’t know what they’re missing - you dont have to spend your precious time reading trash!! There are so many great books out there that will give you a much better more engaging experience. If you read a summary of this one it tells you everything you need to know - if the summary doesn’t sound like you would like the book immediately, dont waste your time. To the author - it’s ok that your books suck!! I’m on your side bestie. Plus tons of ppl read them so I’m sure you dont mind lol. Anyway terrible horrible book, I’ve talked to people who like books in this genre and even they didn’t enjoy it. No one is gonna read this whole review lol

Julia Whelan just does such a great job narrating, and I think this book may have bored me a bit more without her talents. I do love a slow burn romance, but this one maybe was too slow? I got a little bored in the middle, and I felt like the the "conflict" in the relationship was just as deep as one in a Hallmark movie -
just lack of communication.
Like, I wasn't rooting for them lol and also!
Was I supposed to catch that she hated being a doctor??? That seemed out of nowhere to me!
Would probs try Ms. Henry again.
