"In every universe, it's you for me. Even if it's not me for you."

Happy Place is the perfect summer read and I just wish I had read this at the beach, soaking in the sun while experiencing this beautiful summer vacation romance story that warmed my heart.
But with no beach vacation in my foreseeable future, my balcony and bed had to make do.

Chapter 7 was a real treat and left me giggling and squealing ❤

This story is not just about a second chance romance. It's a love letter to all kinds of love, and that it is okay to grow and change, but happiness is what really matters.

The main character and her thoughts hit a little too close to home for me. I have been crying for the last hour after I finished it.

Another Emily Henry success. But damn is that cover unassuming

Don’t really understand the excessive hype around this one, but I enjoyed reading it.

I liked it. I found it a lot more emotional than her previous ones that were more of a fun read ( for me at least). This one, had a lot of ups and downs of a relationship, how your childhood trauma can impact said relationship and much more. I got teary once or twice throughout. After the 2/3 of the books I started figuring out how both the protagonists trauma had led to their breakout. It was a lot of miscommunication of absence of communication all together per say. I liked the then and now timelines because we actually get to see them falling in love and falling apart! I also liked the kind of fake dating trope there was going on although I was feeling somewhat awkward cause they were actually broken up and especially in the beginning there were some hard feelings on both sides and I could've felt the tension and awkwardness if i was in her place. I would have loved to have a few point of views from his perspective but I guess then it would have kind of spoiled the whole miscommunication dunno. Spice wise it was pretty vanilla with a few details here and there.
