A heartwrenching story, but it was amazing. I couldn't seem to ever get a grasp on where the story was headed because there were constantly new pieces being tossed in to throw me off. I couldn't put it down, especially for the last 60 pages or so- what started off as nighttime reading became me staying up late to finish the book!

I liked this audiobook. It didn’t grip me quite as much as other Kristin Hannah books but I still enjoyed it. I liked seeing Alice’s growth and the sister’s personal growth as well. I thought the end was a little predictable
