Short story. I listened to it. Only 1 hour long. Very captivating! But also creepy. I didn’t love the ending. But it was definitely a fun little listen.

I read this "book" when it was a short story which was a part of the "Rogues" anthology. It occurred to me afterward that her agent must have decided they didn't make enough money from it and it was published as a tiny stand alone book.

It is a good story! It starts out very typical Gillian Flynn with a woman "con-artist," then it takes a turn into ghost story, and then it turns into a thriller of sorts . . or does it? So much fun. I liked it better than "Gone Girl" if I'm going to be completely forthcoming.

A strange little book with a little creepiness and it comes all together at the end in what was probably expected but I enjoyed it.
