Okay babe we get it, your husband smells like ylang-ylang.
This book was the kind of awful that means I am completely unable to leave a real review. Flawed from the beginning and clearly written by someone who has very little knowledge of living in London, the whole thing is rushed. Pass!

The Strangers We Know by Pip Drysdale is an absolute page-turner! It’s a domestic thriller that pulls you in from the first chapter and keeps you hooked right to the end.
The story centres around Charlie, a woman whose life turns unexpectedly when she stumbles across something shocking. What follows is a rollercoaster of twists and turns as she tries to uncover the truth. The plot is fast-paced, with plenty of surprises to keep you guessing.
I enjoyed how relatable Charlie is—she’s smart, determined, and flawed in a way that feels real. The modern setting, with elements like social media and dating apps, adds a fresh, contemporary edge to the story and makes it even more compelling.
Pip Drysdale’s writing is sharp and tense, making it hard to put the book down. While a few moments require you to suspend disbelief, the gripping storyline more than makes up for it.
If you love thrillers that make you question everything, this one’s for you. It’s clever, intense, and will leave you thinking long after you’ve turned the last page.

Maybe 3.5 for this domestic thriller. Charlie and her husband have the perfect relationship, until she's looking through a dating app with her single friend and sees her husband's photo. This was intriguing and quick to get through, but Charlie was so quick to doubt her husband. There were a few twists, but I found it overall too far fetched. But a fun read.

This book was terrific. I had no idea what to expect going into it. Such shady characters who hide their lives and intentions so well. I enjoyed the first-person, hindsight type writing style. It was such a fun way to read this book. The main character already knows the outcome of the tale, but we don't. It was fun. Would read again.
