exceptional
should be reread multiple times
I've been wondering whether I truly understood what the author intended, or whether I misunderstood it by transplanting my own meaning in places. I would like to read it again closer. I would like to read it again at different points in my life.
compelled me to read it aloud at times, both because the text was a bit difficult/my concentration was bad, and because it was very beautiful

After I finished this last night I was pretty sure most of it went over my head, which is fine, as I probably don’t neatly fit the intended audience. My favourite parts were the ‘narrative’ ones (Rea & Aude; Fanta… etc) but some of the more abstract/ theory based sections had me a bit lost.
After a good night’s sleep, i felt like the content had seeped into my brain and left me feeling more hopeful, inspired and pretty combative. So yes, a lot of it went over my head, but I now see this book as more of a piece of art than anything else, and that’s made me appreciate it more.

The type of book you immediately think of the friend you want to share it with - which I have done, and they have loved.
