While Lois Lane is my favorite literary character, this retrospective makes it clear for just how long she was written by men. In particular during the 1950s, when comics was arguably at its lowest, characters like Lois we're subjected to stories like "would Superman still love me if I was fat?"
Much better was her with the beginning of John Byrne's Man of Steel, where she became more of the reporter and wasn't defined only by her relationship to Superman/Clark Kent.
Ultimately though, this is a great collection of stories covering 75 years of Lois Lane

This collection reminded me of something I complain about 24/7: Lois Lane needs a solo run and "Superman's Girlfriend" was an offensive goddamn tragedy. Five stars because it's Lois and I prize her above all others!

I didn't know this book was composed of extract of Lois moments. At first I was a little concerned but at the end it was nice for someone like me, who has still a long way to go to read Superman comic books!
I've loved Loïs forever and I'll never stop
