i am going to share a controversial bookish opinion with you all.
i.. don't hate the pregnancy trope. like, i'm not going out of my way to find books that have it, but oddly enough, i usually really enjoy the ones i do read. there is just something so charming and loveable about reading a book where you get to watch the characters become a family.

i love tucker. so much. he got thrown into being a father at a young age. it would be understandable if he was thrown and maybe even acted out a little. but no. he was so calm and dependable throughout the whole process, always ready to support sabrina and the baby however he could. he was so involved. even before the baby was brought into the scenario, though, i loved the way that he went after sabrina. always going by her schedule, respecting her boundaries and how hard she worked to get where she was. he literally was down bad pretty much immediately. which like suuureee runs a *little* close to insta-love (which i usually hate), but it really just worked.

sabrina was extremely smart, stubborn, and she kind of drove me nuts sometimes. i think its because she was written very realistically. she reacted to the situation how a real person would. erratically. she cared for tucker in such a different way, so quietly, and i would say she's very self destructive. she didn't want to bring down tuckers life, or trap him, whereas that is pretty much all tucker wanted. he wanted to support her and she was so so used to doing everything alone. she wanted to get out of the house she was in, sure, but she wanted to do it on her own. i loved the way tucker never stopped trying to prove to her that just because she COULD do it alone, didn't mean she had to. he never stopped supporting her, even when that meant not being romantically involved because she couldn't handle it at that time.

all that being said, the miscommunication in this one drove me up the walls.
i survived, but barely.

Definitely better than I was expecting however not my favorite of the series. Very mature approach to the situation however the way some of the side characters handled the situation was highly irritating despite me understanding that this can be accurate it just didn’t feel right to their character and generally speaking I didn’t enjoy how few of them were truly on her side from the start. Also I feel like we never fully resolved any of her struggles relating to Harvard which kind of bothered me because the only interactions they showed of her at Harvard was them looking down at her (except for that other mother)

Overall though the relationship was super sweet I just wish the characters were more supportive of them together and individually.

7/10 - ok i feel like an ass saying this but i was not a fan of sabrina, imo tuck was waaayyyyy to good for her, and i didn’t love that this book focused so much on sabrina and so little on the boys, like this was the sabrina book, & tbh i feel like we know nothing about tucker, is she a badass women, yes, but i was reading these books for my hockey boys
