“Time in labor: 19 hours. Time between contractions: 60 seconds. Number of times Sabrina has threatened to kill me: 38. Number of broken bones in my hand: who knows”

I adored Sabrina & Tucker, especially Tuck. He was such a gentleman, it was refreshing after reading about his fellow roommates, although Dean is still my favorite.

I will say though, I had many issues with this book. At times it felt like what I was reading was so pointless. I kept asking myself, “what is the point to this?” Some aspects in the story just felt like needless filler and I didn’t like that at all. It felt very slow.

The whole “will they won’t they” trope felt like it was dragged on a bit too long. I understand their relationship was complicated with having a baby at such an early stage of their relationship but I just didn’t like the back and forth between them. It was annoying, I just wanted them to admit they love each other and just be together already

i know pregnancy trope is sort of a love it or hate it thing, i love it IF done well, and elle kennedy did such an amazing job with it. i loved tucker and sabrinas relationship, it felt real and nice and i loved their progression. im only a little bothered by just how long it took to admit their feelings, but that’s just me wanting them to be happy

This is the first book in the off-campus saga that fell I little bit flat for me. I do not know if it is because we already know were the story will go and therefore felt the story drag a little bit or if it is because I did not fall in love with Sabrina as a main character.
