Once again, Emily Gunnis weaves together the story of generations of women, and does it fantastically. This is a very well written, captivating and devastating story centered around St. Margaret's (a mother and baby home in the the 1950's) and how it connects to written letters found in present day.

What a story

It started out rather confusing, trying to keep up with the different time lines. But, once the basics were laid out, I couldn't put it down. Stunning. Written beautifully.
