Solid 3.5/5 - goodreads forces me to round up to 4.

It's hard when you have such a high standard with Madeline Millers books.

It was very mid before but it grew on me and I enjoyed it~ probably after the halfway mark.
I love Greek Mythology but geez louise there are SO MANY retelling novels.
Am I tempted to read them? Not really but am I glad they exist, yes :)

I say this as I'm about to read "Immortal Longings" which I think is another modern retelling in like a Cyberpunky future?

I have forced myself to read many mythology books in the past (I want to be a mythology girlie, sue me) and this is genuinely the first one I really loved! I can't wait for the author to publish more novels.

I really enjoyed the double POV and how both Psyche and Eros had to face many challenges both alone and together.
