While there are some clear flaws, such as the lack of depth in Watney as a character, or the science portions kind of ending up as jumbled jargon, I found this book to be incredibly fun, and I really enjoyed it. One of my favourite books ive read this year for sure

This is a book obviously written with the intention of being made into a film (which it was). It's a made-for-the-masses mediocre sci-fi novel full of silly nonsense and inflated ego. I don't recommend unless you arent much of a reader in general.
