I enjoyed Christopher Emdin's idea of neoindigenousness and the ways in which white teachers need to address their biases. However, parts of his pedagogy seemed better in theory. Some also seemed impractical given the level of workload urban teachers need to address. I think there is a middle ground between traditional pedagogy and Edmin's reality pedagogy. I look forward to more work out of his school of thought!
