This book is frustrating as hell. I so badly want to root for the characters, but they have a very toxic relationship. I was on the edge of my seat waiting for the next drama. If you don’t like miscommunication troupe this is not the book for you.

Wow so this was chaotic. I can’t believe he did that I thought he truly loved her, but in the end she stayed after all that craziness. I hope they work everything out in the next book. I definitely had to bring down the star rating because the plot was super crazy and chaotic!

Wow, this is so bad.
Did I expect a radioactive waste lever toxic trash fest going into it? Yes but Hot Mama
The writing? So awful. Cringe at the best of times and So Fucking Repetitive. I think this author literally wrote mayyybe two pages worth of dialogue and then keeps on recycling the same tired shit over and over again
The “relationship?” Not to mention manipulative toxic shit? It’s also so bleh? Like the bitch probably wouldn’t even know the mans last name if it weren’t for the fact that she is supposed to be working for him?
Have they ever had a single conversation? Unknown? All they do is sex each other up and talk about sexing each other up and then fight bc of the idea of him or her sexing other people up.
Also? Slaps of misogyny splashed in there? The only female apparently worth a damned it Kate and let’s be real, she’s trash. Who in the fucking world would see their best friend get pushed around and controlled and be happy and SUPPORTIVE OF THIS ONCE AGAIN SO CALLED RELATIONSHIP. Every single woman throws themselves at Jesse, quite the headache to be honest
To be clear, the entire book was a headache. Reminiscent of the angsty fan fiction of my youth, I think I may have a developed an ulcer from the constant drama and ridiculousness. Therapy guys, consider it.
The stress of all this shallow messing about also left me completely bored and numb to any smut that was still very much frequent and Very dull. I can only assume that’s what a relationship is like.
