DID NOT FINISH: 34%

I didn't like how much of a push over Ava was. This book went on and on repeating itself. I couldn't be bothered to finish it.

Como caso de estudio psicológico para personas con dependencia emocional crónica, es fantástico. Como historia de amor, no tanto.

Nope, not a vampire. Shame that.
I am going to read book 2 just cause I'm hoping there is something fun that happens with the brother and the best friend... WITH Sam. :)

I wasn't an enormous fan of this book. I think it was too dragged out with too many of the same Jesse and Eva battles; if it had been like 100 pages shorter it probably would have been better, I found myself finally having to skip some parts to move it along. Underneath all of the extra, there is a decent plot and I finally got to know some things about Jesse, but it was work to get through it.

ne zaman okuduğumu hatırlamıyorum ama okumuştum :)

I'm liking Jesse Ward, Lord of the (Sex) Manor, more in this book, but I'm still not a fan of his controlling ways. Why is he like this? Getting secrets out of him is like pulling teeth without novocaine.

Ava is standing up to him more, which I do appreciate.

I honestly don’t know why I bother with this series because there’s literally no plot. I’m amazed that I was able to finish this but I think it was mostly due to a morbid fascination with me bat shit crazy lead characters. At first I thought Jesse was the only crazy ass character in this series but turns out that Ava is insane too! Both of them truly deserve each other because their “love” for one another is toxic as hell. Jesse of course is on a whole other level of crazy though. I won’t even go into it but this guy shouldn’t be allowed among the public. I might read the last book just to see the bat shit insane things these two will get into. It’s honestly entertaining reading the antics Jesse gets into without someone calling the police on this guy.

This book was worse than the first.... I'm going to try and not do any spoilers in this review...

In the first book, I thought it was her that I hated but really it's him that I hate. I didn't like that she can be with someone who has no redeeming qualities about them.

And Jesse Ward has no redeeming qualities about him.... he is controlling with no type of compromise, he uses sex to manipulate her, and he disrespects her thoughts, feelings, and wants if it doesn't benefit him.

This book was more ridiculous than the first. The whole timeline from the beginning of the 1st and the end of this one is like 5 weeks. NO ONE in life will go through that much drama willingly and be treated that way in such a short time. He says 'I love you' every 5 seconds like that is an excuse to treat her like that. It's not!

This book just got worse and worse as it went on. At one point you kind of start having some feelings for him, it all goes to hell and it is a stupid, stupid ending.... I would NEVER read another one of these books. I may be kicking this author out of my lists too.....
