This is one of the novelas in the Syrena Legacy trilogy. It's a short ebook telling the story of how Galen met Rachel and how she came to be a vital part of his team on land. While reading "Of Poseidon", Rachel was one of my favorite characters and I've always wondered about her backstory. This novela satisfied a lot of my curiosity (but not all of it), while being a lot better than the actual novel. Rachel is one of the most engaging characters in the trilogy and I like her relationship with Galen, Rayna and Toraf.

Really enjoyed reading this story again, meeting some of these characters, and I can't wait to reread more!

Cute short story about how Galen first meets Rachel, he saves her from drowning, and yeah, sweet short story!

It was interesting to know more about Rachel. I think I can trust her, but she hasn't 100% convinced me yet! And the part when Toraf and Rayna find Rachel and Galen!!! SO FUNNY

This was really cute, but I was expecting a little more of Galen and Rachel trying to get to know each other and of Rachel answering Galen's questions about the human world.
