Fables To Depart By is a great collection of short stories by Jayson Robert Ducharme that is perfect for the spooky season. These stories that are not only spooky but make you as a reader feel the raw emotion that the characters do. They're also very atmospheric and written so very well, that even though they're short stories I didn't feel like there was anything missing in the build up or character development.

My favourite stories in this collection were Fables To Depart By, The Tooth fairy, Night Terrors, Threnody of the Last Syreni and Walter.
Highly recommend that you get yourself a copy on the 25th October, just in time for Halloween.
Thank you for sending me a copy of this in exchange for review, I cannot wait to read more of your stories!

This is another one if those books where for a few of these, I say "what did I just read?"

This was a great collection of short stories and some of them left me wanting more. There's something to be said for a short story that reads like it would be a fantastic full novel! I was glued to this book and finished it in only a few hours. Fables to Depart By a great for if you're in the mood for something Spooky or Horror, but don't want to commit to a complete book.
Each story was great in its own way, but these are my favorite stories of the bunch:
• I Dream of Venus
• Silhouette
• Night Terrors
• The Tooth Fairy
• A Fatal Gamble

Thank you to Jayson Robert Ducharme for this ARC. I really enjoyed it!
