At the very start, I wasn't so sure. For starters, I only knew Spider-Man, not the young X-Men. But the more I read, the more I liked it.
It was completely foolish. But in a Spider-Man way. The blending of the X-Men and Spidey villains became more and more fun.
I was even emotionally affected a little!

I needed to read a comic for a reading challenge, and someone I know had this one. So I figured why not give it a try. It's alright. I've never been that interested in comics, and I'm still not. I do enjoy graphic novels on occasion if it's the right one. Of course I can appreciate the talented illustrations within Spider-Man & the X-Men. It was also wittier and more intellectual than I thought, which I quite enjoyed. But I don't think I'm really a superhero person, so I will probably give similar comics a pass in the future. It's always good to expand my reading with a new genre though.

I probably didn't have enough knowledge of X-men continuity to read this but there's enough context clues and the art for the book was nice (though for one chapter, another artist steppped in. This is a 6 chapter limited series - come on Marvel, plan better). The story zipped along and I mean this in the best way, has the appearance of kids playing around with their action figures. Let's team up Chameleon and Mojo. Let's throw in some dinosaur people hybrids. Inspired zaniness. I've complained about lack of substance before but sometimes a well plotted, fun book, if executed properly, doesn't need it.

Loved it. A slow start but the pay-off was worth it. A fun crossover caper with my two favourites, the X-Men and Spidey.

Way better than it deserved to be. Most of the veteran characters were done a little bit off including Spider-man. But even so, this team of characters were just a lot of fun. And getting a team as crazy as Eye Boy and Shark Girl and Glob to work takes some doing. This book really captured a much more modern view of what it means to be at a Mutant school. To be clear this book was flawed, but overall it went somewhere and was quite good enough.

Reminds me alot of the Ultimate Spider-Man Tv Show, not the biggest fan, but this book is a wholesome read regardless

Really fun comic with great art, if you love spider-man and want something light-hearted but engaging, you'll love this.

I almost skipped this because it's a sequel to Wolverine & The X-Men, but I'm glad I tried it. Nothing mind-blowing, but a few famous meme panels and a fun silly story with kids.
