Hate reading it just to finish it! This book is so melodramatic and soapy and unbelievable. No character development- I skimmed most of the descriptions because they didn’t add anything to the store and just read the dialogue so I could wrap up the very convoluted plot. Def a mass market appeal type of mystery novel. Not for me. Also, what 4 year old can remember anything that well???
I enjoyed this a great deal. The story was interesting and fast paced, the premise kept my interest, it was overall very enjoyable.
My main gripe actually lies within the “big bad” of everything. They are never fleshed out. We are basically told about this big scary shadow looming over everything but are never really given a proper explanation. Do I understand what they are alluded to? Yes, but that doesn’t mean it was done well.

M’ha semblat un llibre sense substància. Els personatges els he sentit plans i massa senzills, sense evolució. La protagonista, Hannah, a l’igual que la resta dels personatges és insípida, no m’ha provocat res. El misteri era bastant soso i no generava inquietud, arribava un punt on realment em donava igual el que li podria passar a Owen o a la seva filla.
