I don't get the hype but i see why people like it so much. Everyone describes it as a romantasy but its just a fantasy with a romance subplot and its not the same thing at all. A lot of people say that it get better with every book so i'll finish the series. For me its a little bit messy and i did not understand some parts. I liked the characters they are well written.

Really enjoyed the writing and world building. The far are also depicted in an interesting way with rules that shape their personalities. I do wish there were more characters interactions to see their reaction to the events that were taking place.

Non pensavo che questa trilogia potesse piacermi così tanto e invece! Anche se non mancano i difetti, dovuti principalmente alla brevità dei singoli romanzi, la storia è molto coinvolgente, ricca di colpi di scena, e, insieme al ritmo frenetico, rende la lettura scorrevole e piacevole.

I looooved it but I had to start the book 3 times before going further than the 10th chapter lol — super worth it tho I LOVE IT

I felt that the world-building was lacking, I would've liked to have explored more of the world and magic system because I didn't really get much of a sense of either. It was also quite slow until the last few chapters when A LOT happened. I appreciated the twist, I thought it was quite clever so the end of the book definitely redeemed it for me. I will definitely continue on with the series; hopefully the momentum carries into the next book!
