I really liked.  it was a perfect fit especially since I had recently finished watching Avatar, there could have been more world building but other than that I really enjoyed it.  well-created characters.

*I was selected as an arc reader for this book*

the dedication for this book really reeled me in - “for everyone who thought zuko and katara should’ve ended up together”. i really enjoyed the story and bellamy is definitely a new book boyfriend for me!! i wish there had been some more world building, but overall i loved it and i will definitely be waiting for the sequel

Reads like a fanfic, bc it is a fanfic. Reads fast, not particularly well written, pretty shallow characters and plot line. I still enjoyed myself though, read through the whole thing in about 24 hours so it wasn’t bad, just also not good. Needed a good editor.

WOWOWOW was I entranced with this story practically the entire time! I could see the parallels to the ATLA characters, but I love what MK Ahearn did with the changes made to each and every character.

I loved reading the conflicting feelings that Bellamy and Koraine had as their relationship progressed; the struggle of trusting each other despite being enemies from enemy lands. Everything about them should repulse each other, especially with the information Bellamy has about the people of Morwen, and vice versa with what Koraine knows about the people
of Abelon. But maybe their information isn’t to be trusted

it's meh, if you want a quick enemies to lovers it'll be here. there is some zutara inspired stuff (just their bending abilities really and the trope) but other than that uts a touch and go.

I don’t like the trope where characters don’t communicate to protect another character. I wish there was more world building with their kingdoms and history. I don’t even remember the story
