I have tried my hardest to see what other people see in Tessa Baileys books. I have read or tried to read about 6 and only managed to finish 3 of those. I adored Bellinger sister series so much which is why i have kept trying to pick up her books in hopes I find some more gems. This one I was able to finish, it was an interesting story, pretty cliche but that wouldn't stop me from liking a book alone. I like the realistic character of Jasmine. Sarges, eh not so much. I am however interested in Sarge's sister story so I will carry on in the series and see how I like that.

THIS WAS AWFUL, TRAUMATIZING, PAINFUL, CRINGEY- EVERYTHING. i listend to the audiobook...which was an awful decision. i couldn't fall asleep one night and this book popped up on hoopla & and it was only 3 hours long so i was like ayee why not?? i can't sleep anyways- if i had a time travel machine i would go back and tell myself not to read this book. At the time, i had no idea books like this existed so it was practically horror for me. Why did i finish the book?? bc i felt like "well its only a few hours long.." LIKE FOR SOME REASON I FELT OBLIGATED TO FINISH IT.
