Mafia family, crazy family drama, spicy romance, characters with depth, and interesting plot twists — this book had it all. 🃏

I had seen this book all over Booktok and had to give it a shot. I am so glad I did. It was so good. I loved the chemistry between Elena and Nico along with their internal struggles. 👩🏻‍❤️‍👨🏻

It was...I don't know how to rate this book, to be honest, it was okay at some point. I just wish I see more...drama..as much as I hate drama but it lacks that. I want to see a more possessive Nico side or the typical she's been held captive or whatnot but none of that happens. The story mostly progresses from how Elena and Nico try to push each other lust buttons until both of them couldn't anymore. Literally just that..hahaha. I know the second book has the best review and I actually want to skip that and go straight for the third book then the second as the last book... but oh well hope the rest don't disappoint me as much

The book was mostly a lot of sexual tension and violence. There were a lot of good twists, but the story was mainly about sexual desires. Not that I'm complaining.
