Fantastic! Lorel's journey, both inside and out is so compelling! Killjoy conveys both the complexity of the characters and the complexity of the world with clarity. Also, it's a medieval witch fantasy!

what a wonderful story. there are nit-picks i could make but ultimately what matters is how this story makes me feel. i was enraptured. once i began this book i didnt stop i had to read it all.

the characters are so wonderful and compelling. seeing a character like lorel who comes to the conclusion that she doesnt have to change her body to be who she is is so beautiful and refreshing. there were many things that resonsted in hurt and joy as a trans fem but overall this book gave me a lot of hope.

the world is scary and violent and frustrating but there are people like you that will take you in and love you. that will come together and fight for you. that believe its possible to face overwhelming odds and fight for what is right and win

i am soso excited to see what comes next in this series!!

Not what I expected from reading the blurb, but I enjoyed it anyway. Not something I was gunning to listen to whenever I could, but I wasn't actively avoiding it either.
