Eye-opening look into the role of the author in the BBC. Sam juggles the true aspects of the “workaholic” journalist we see on TV with her humorous take of being in these situations.

I’m so glad to have read this book; thank you ‘Scoops’ (film) for the inspiration 👏🏼
Sam McAlister does not shy away from anything and I loved that she wrote this book without fear or judgment (mostly). Everything felt very straightforward and I really appreciated that 🥹
I also got to find out more about figures I never would have heard of otherwise (having been a teen in 2010’s, so not watching the news too much etc.)
I’m giving this book 4 out of 5 stars, thank you ✨ (I don’t love that Piers Morgan complimented Sam, but we move 😂)
