myinvinciblesummer's review against another edition
I loved the amount of queer representation in this series so I hoped I could stand for a pregnancy trope, because I loved the characters and representation so much. I can’t handle 50% of a book including pregnancy trope - that’s then basically the whole storyline if you include the first 50% that included talking about and trying for pregnancy, but would have pushed through, but THREE pregnancies? No thank you.
I’m not giving a rating because my intense dislike of pregnancy tropes is personal preference, not a reflection on the author’s writing

Minor: Deadnaming
I used the deadnaming tag because Billie’s parents intentionally use she/her pronouns when Billie uses they/them pronouns.abritromantic's review against another edition

To say I have been waiting for this book with great excitement is an understatement. I loved book one, and the final chapter had me desperate to get my hands on book two.
Now first - if you don’t like babies in your books, or breeding, then this book isn’t for you. But Sierra is great in that she warns you at the end of book 1 that there’s going to be a baby plot line in book two, so you don’t read the final chapter with the cliffhanger. So, even if you don’t like babies/breeding/both don’t let that stop you from reading Part 1!
Having said all that, I love babies and a bit of breeding kink and wow does this book deliver!!
This book opens with Nicky being happy with her new found lovers, when suddenly she and one of her lovers gets pulled into an investigation. This book has a great storyline with brilliant pacing. Something I really enjoyed was how all the relationships in the pack developed, and how good they were at communicating (no ‘misunderstanding trope’). Bonus for all the bonding, breeding and the ‘happily ever after’.
I loved reading this book/series so much. The main characters are just perfection, and the side characters are so well written - I can’t wait to read their stories!
If you love omegaverse and why choose romance books then I highly recommend this one.
