Twin bakers who live in different cities decide to switch places for a few days due to one getting a head injury.

Charlie is the costar of a baking show and has a promotion within reach, but first she needs to tape the holiday special. When she gets injured, she loses her senses of taste and smell, making it difficult to do her job. Meanwhile, her identical sister Cass is stuck in the routine of their hometown, running the family bakery, and trying to find the strength to cut ties with her boyfriend of more than a decade.

This switch gives them the chance to better understand what they want from life, find their voices, and break from routine and the expected.

This was a cute read that could easily be a Hallmark holiday film. Everything ties sweetly into the perfect bow. (A little too perfect, but works for the season.)

This is the book to read this December!
An entertaining, feel good read.

Maggie Knox wrote such interesting characters in this story - they were absolutely endearing and so enjoyable to read.

If you’re looking for a light-hearted, romantic holiday book to read before the end of the year, this is it!

Special thanks to Edelweiss and G.P. Putnam's Sons (Penguin Publishing Group) for sharing this ARC with me in exchange for an honest review.

This was just what I needed right now. A hallmark movie in book form. It was sweet and heart warming, a touch predictable, but in a comforting way. The characters were lovable and relatable. Honestly I just needed this book right now and I’m so glad I read it.

The Holiday Swap is the perfect book to cuddle up with on a cold winter day. It is so cozy and charming. The switching places part gives all this nostalgia Parent Trap vibes and all the talk of baking gives you that warm calm feeling from The Great British Bake-off. Mix all of that with some Christmas spirit and you have some holiday magic. Cass and Charlie have an amazing sister dynamic and take you on an exciting holiday adventure. It’s easy to fall in love with them, their family, bakery, and the love interests. Can’t wait to read more from this author duo whether together or apart.
