This was a fantastic sequel, I really loved the first book and this was a brilliant follow up! I think I marginally prefered book one.

I loved seeing the wolves and dragons (the kids at least) begin to trust one another and work together to prevent the idiot adults from rushing into a war for no reason.

The plot point of who their parents were was very nicely done and I can't wait to see what role that will end up playing!

I feel like there's something big that is yet to be revealed about the wolf leaders and I cannot wait to find out!

I'm still really surprised how much I'm enjoying a middle-grade book (that isn't Harry Potter but let's be real they don't count), it's so well done and makes for a really fun exciting read!

I cannot wait for the final book to come out! Definitely a must-read for fantasy fans!

Man ! I love a good story ! I loved the first one and this one is even better ! We get to find out who their parents are!

Anders goes after his sister to save her from the dragons - but turns out they have their own school/ home system just like the wolves.

So he an Lizbet unable to go home find a way to make the dragons home their home :)

Its very clear the wolves aren’t welcome but they can’t just throw them out cause they are kids- Leif the leader intervenes and invites them to become his students. The others protest but this is their leader so everyone eventually concedes- but make it clear they aren’t happy about it

Meanwhile the wolves have stolen the snow-stone looking to freeze the dragons out - the dragons on the war path to attack first. Will tensions continue to rise until one side wages war?

Solid second volume that introduces us to the other side in the war, adds a quest, answers a mystery, and heightens conflict and tension. I’m not a fan of the clue-by-clue quest plot, but it introduced us to more locations in the world and escalated tension, so it didn’t stop me reading. Wrapped up one storyline while setting up the next—I’ll definitely read the third one.

This was full of fun quests. The setting of each quest was creative. The ending left me wanting to finish out the series. I gotta know how this turns out, and I hope to revisit some of the cool locations that the characters visit briefly in this one.

Unfortunately, this book was a bit of a letdown. I lost interest halfway through, and it just didn’t capture the magic that it’s predecessor contained. One might find motivation to continue the trilogy simply to discover how the war between the two parties is resolved, but it is lacking in many areas.
