Yes i read middle grade, what about it?
i actually love a good middle-grade as a palate cleanser because 1. there's very little romance. sometimes guys and gals can just be friends, y'all
2. minimal amounts of gore/death [gore doesn't really bother me, it can just get gratuitous very fast]
3. they're funny! pjo is the best example of this, but middle grade relies on genuine good humor to make the readers laugh. it's not all grimdark or innuendo all the time

I quite liked this than the first book. So much stuff has been happening and the adventure! More dragon action though, by that I meant flying and A History of Dragons. Lol. Which is awesome. I liked it better than the wolves' history.

I didn't think this was as good as Ice Wolves, but I still enjoyed it a lot. I loved seeing more into the world of the dragons, and the friendships that formed there. I think my problem was that it felt like not much happened and that it was more to set up for the events in the next book (maybe). While I did enjoy the treasure hunt style aspect of the plot, and the strengthening of friendships and chosen family, I just wish a little bit more happened. I am still very excited to see how it all wraps up in Battle Born though!
