Picked this up on audio in Hoopla and another one I never thought I'd enjoy that much.

Lawn Bum and Elly May were such a delightful couple, I can't stop smiling all throughout this book. Their chemistry was just palpable and their steamy scenes would have left me blushing if I could blush. HA.

I can't help but compare this with HEAP which I also recently read. While that was also a good read, I just felt that something was missing though I can't pinpoint which.

Here, I fell in love with everything - how the main characters met, how their relationship developed and evolved, how the secondary characters have their own personalities not just for the sake of having them as side ones, how the conflict was laid out and handled.

I also loved the playlist here more. I now have the songs on loop in my Spotify.

Was looking for a rock star romance and this was recommended. Loved Killian. Loved the band guys. Brenna and Libby were fun too. The smut was good. The story just felt like I’ve heard it before and I’m not big on the miscommunication trope.

Okay, so this book wasn't so bad. It was okay. I was able to read through the whole thing and somewhat enjoy it. But I don't know what didn't do it for me. Maybe because the plot was filled with coincidences and a lot happened a little too fast or...I don't know. But I hope you enjoy the book if you read it :)
