I really liked the beginning, but the story didn’t quite catch me the way rockstar romances do. The story was fine but i didn’t have the urgency to keep reading. I didn’t 100% like the ending simply because I don’t think every story needs to end in a proposal. It’s just too cheesy for me personally.

I recently reread 'Idol' and I really, really loved it. I enjoyed reading about Libby and her life as a recluse. Her fears were real and honest and met with her new found love for Killian. Usually I tend to find a lot of New Adult novels to be very samey but Kristen made this one very fresh for me. Killian was a character filled with remorse; a broken soul on the road to ending but finds love and forgiveness in a woman whose just as scared of life.
