oh my fucking god. oh my Fucking God.
this books was Amazing. as a queer autistic person, this is The representation i needed. oh my god.
the trans autistic experience is so well written, so accurate, so complex and true, yet simple.
i personally can’t say i was, well, horrified by the horror and gore but it might just be me. i know most people would definitely be queasy at the very least, so that’s something to keep in mind.
overall, andrew joseph white did a spectacular job with this book! i’ve already ordered his other book, hell follows with us, and i can’t wait for his future releases!! 100% instabuy every book he releases

easiest 5☆ of my life

This book is incredible. It has really good trans representation. The way it's written is very relatable. Silas i s also autistic and i love that he is, i can't say if its good representation, because i am not. It is very dark, some times gory and very gritty. I like the atmosphere and that pretty much every man is a piece of shit.

I coudn't stop reading and was really sad when it was over. I also loved the worldbuilding, the lore and how it was written overall.

There is a T4T realtionship, omg i was so pumped about that

Also Daphne is the GOAT, i almost exploded when she was introduced.

This was a very uncomfortable read, but that's not to say that it was a bad thing.

There is a lot of medical terminology and surgery. So we do have body parts and bodily fluids throughout.

This is also a book set in the 1800's. And even though we do have light fantasy elements, we get to experience what some of the women of this time had to endure at the hands of the men who want to keep them down and break them.

I also felt that the body dysmorphia that our main character experienced was well done, although uncomfortable to read. I really felt what he was going through.
