Book 2 of a trilogy. Loved it. Natasha Bishop is a brilliant author.
Simply put this is a story about two people who have had the hots for each other for years. Nina wanted to approach Issiah but she felt that he was not the type of guy to want a relationship. He is known for always joking around.
After her best friend wedding, she decides to drive to Issiah's place. They have mind blowing sex; 2 months later she finds out that she's pregnant.
Read the book to find out what happens.

Okay okay okay okay okay so here’s the thing. I’m giving this 3 stars because Natasha’s writing is still so good and it’s not her fault she managed to figure out every. single. one. of my romance pet peeves. In case you also have these pet peeves: Nina is giving “omg I’m so quirky cuz I love movies and graphic tees” vibes. There are MULTIPLE Harry Potter References (like chill). And there is a “you’re not complete until you’ve found the person who completes you” conversation. NOW ALLLLL THAT SAID, Nina and Isaiah are lovely and Jada and Logan (Nina’s siblings that she takes care of) are some of my favorite fictional children HANDS DOWN.

Natasha slayed me again ! This was so good and I was so ready to see what Isiah was all about .
Her writing style is so fun and comfortable and spicy . Like how do I have inside jokes with a book , SOD for life lol ( if you know you know ) .
Another empowering book of strong black men and women and family and found family all present here.
We still see and mingle with all the family and crew from book one which is amazing.
Nina is a bad ass and o knew I’d love her story . She’s amazing , an excellent example of the foundation LF her family .
I will admit a few tropes present here drive me mad but Natasha delivers them well . There is a surprise babe and miscommunication so hang in there folks it all gets good so you won’t be annoyed long .
The kids are so precious: Jada and Lucas are such amazing kids . I enjoyed their time and stories too .
All in all I laughed , almost cried , wanted to bitch slap a certain hoe , and had happy feels while reading This book . Definitely give it a go , you will not be disappointed.
Also small content warning there are a few HP references.

“isn’t it funny how our minds can just block out bits of time like that?”
“i also find that i hate being alone with my thoughts.”
from beginning to end, both characters had me in a headlock. i was eager to read both povs because they had a lot going on in silence. the writing style made the reading experience effortlessly imaginative and interactive for me.
isaiah sparked my interest since book 1. he’s the jokester in the friend group but sometimes people use jokes to mask/hide the painful memories that they’re plagued with. his charisma and his ability to make the people around him happy made my heart burn. he’s like a golden retriever but trust he knows how to put it tf down!
nina minds her business but zay came in and uprooted her life in the nicest way possible. her character had sooo much going on but her ability to smoothly deal with each situation was commendable. from dealing with grief, taking care of her siblings, maneuvering her relationship with isaiah, managing the bar. phew. i was tired for her.
their relationship flourished beautifully…from practically nothing, to friends, to best friends, to the love of each others life. the found family and unexpected pregnancy was written nicely. the family scenes added to the wholesomeness of this book. don’t get it twisted though the spicy scene’s tainted it at times

Complicated
This is my favorite of the Lost and Found series by Natasha Bishop so far! There were a lot of tense subjects that I think the author handled really well. While the theme of fand family plays a role throughout the series, I think there's an added layer with Isaiah and Nina's situation.
I don't love a surprise pregnancy trope but this book is very much an exception to that.
