This was such a fun read, book 2 in the lost and found series. one night with the guy you like with protection, but you end up pregnant. I read book 1 a few months ago and it was a lot heavier, this one kept me giggling throughout. it was the text threads, different group chats, and inner thoughts for me. both FMC and MMC were super funny, and I love how they lighten the mood even when having serious conversations or going through their down moments. So many favorite moments, when he asked if he can come inside and she said you already did that, thats why we are here. Its Nina introducing Carlos and then leaving him on read. All the moments together with the kids were so sweet. It's the song and movie references throughout JUST EVERYTHING!!!
Guys, I won’t lie, at first this book wasn't my favorite. I don't really like the surprise pregnancy tropes, especially when it happens after a one night stand. Them thangs were swimming, okay? But it's mostly because from that moment on I question whether the guy is with her for her or the baby.
With that being said, this book ate! I loved how he was with the kids. I don't usually like kids in a book, because they're often used to show that someone isn't actually trash, or they're used as an excuse for why someone can't live their life, or they pop up once and are never heard from again. I loved how raw and real their relationship felt, and how vulnerable he finally allowed himself to be with her. He wanted her long before they had the baby, it was just the icing on the cake.
I was angry with him at times, but I devoured this book because of how perfectly imperfect these characters were. I fell in love with all of them, and watching the healing and growth that they did. Natasha did it again. She’s got the secret sauce to make me like a trope I normally don’t think is used well.

This is the second book in the series. It was interesting and definitely kept my attention. I loved getting to keep up with Ciara and Lincoln from the first book and Logan and Jada were literally the cutest!
I absolutely loved Nina and Isaiah together in this story, and their chemistry is amazing. They definitely had some character development throughout the book but I would be lying if I didn't say that there weren't moments for both Nina and Isiah that kinda made me mad. Some of the miscommunication in this book could have been avoided if both characters hadn't been so stubborn at times and had just taken the time to listen to each other instead of jumping to conclusions. And I'll be honest all of the baby part of the storyline didn't really do much for me. But overall Natasha Bishop keeps you locked in until the end of the story.
Alexis and Monica were literally trash human beings but I will say Alexis showed a little less of her trash side by the end of it all.
I'm definitely curious to see where the series goes from here.
