Bellissimo Fortuna (The Family Trilogy #1)
By Leigh Ann Lunsford
Rated 5 stars

Wow! As a mafia romance i am impressed. Not my usual genre but it by Leigh Ann Lunsford so I thought I would see where she would take me. This is full of love, heartbreak and possible redemption . I really feel for Bronson and Callie. I love that Bronson is so protective of Callie and she thinks he hung the moon and stars. Young Love..sigh!

Callie’s family life is not something to desire. Thank goodness she has her besties Bronson and Bianca and uses their home as a refuge. Callie’s Dad (Frank) makes me so angry. What a jerk! He is super smart though in how he works everything to his advantage. Callie went through a lot of changes in the book. From child to teenager to strong woman. She is impressive to say the least.
I am shocked that Bronson has the option of even leaving the Mafia. His Dad is a exceptional family guy and the Boss. Obviously family comes first in his world. He loves his wife and kids. Bronson is in a tough spot or spots. Following his dream, staying with the family and Callie...which to choose. His dream, heart or obligation? That’s a lot but as they say in the book...kids grow up fast in that life.
The secondary characters of Bianca and Dakota were wonderfully played. We got just enough Info about them to but they didn’t detract from the main characters. It yet I want to know more about them and where they go from here.

I have read Leigh Ann Lunsford books before and I can tell you she brings so much emotion out of each character. Not only that but as the reader you will feel the characters frustration, love and well...all their feelings as they do. She is always a five star read and this book is no exception! I look forward to Dakota and Bianca’s story!

Bellissimo Fortuna (Family Trilogy Book 1) by Leigh Ann Lundsfod is a different genre than I am used to, with that said I really enjoyed the story. Leigh Ann is an author that develops her characters as well as the scenery in her story. In my opinion she must have researched the subject material and the complex family styles. The story is about Callie and Bronson. They were children when they pledge themselves to one another. Did I forget to mention that they were children of mob families? There are some family betrayals and the pledge that Callie and Bronson made be in jeopardy. The story has revenge, couple trouble, and secrets until the end. There is fast pace to the end of the story. You will have to read the story to read until the end to see what happens between Bronson and Callie.

Bellissimo Fortuna (Beautiful Fortune) (Family Trilogy Book 1) by Leigh Ann Lunsford is the first book in her Family Trilogy series. This is not my first book by this author but it has just become my favorite. Her writing skills are such that she pulled me right into the story from the beginning. Her story is easy flowing and engaging. I read it in one sitting as I couldn't put it down until the last page. Her characters are both true to life and connectable. They took me on an emotional roller coaster ride of various emotions that made me tear up a little one minute and angry the next. They also took me on a journey of twists and turns that left me sitting on the edge of my seat just waiting to see what will happen next. This story is about Callie and Bronson. They two didn't grow up like normal people. They grew up together because their father's are mob bosses. She gave herself to him at a young age and they will stop at nothing to protect each other. This is where the story takes on revenge, greed, running away and secrets. Will their bond be strong enough to stand the test? A father's betrayal could change everything for them. What will happen when they are reunited? I loved both of these characters. They are strong and really just want to protect the other. Bronson is the alpha male in this story. He is controlling, handsome and knows what needs to be done. I kept hoping that fate would allow them to be together. Their chemistry together is strong but how strong will the test of time be? I enjoyed the secondary characters in this story as well. They are strong and supportive. They help make this story flow into the story that it is. I highly recommend this book. Find out what happens between Bronson and Callie, will life get in the way of true love?

Bellissimo Fortuna is the first book in The Family Trilogy by Leigh Ann Lunsford. This story is a little different from most of her other books in that it is a mafia romance. I have read most of her books now and can honestly say she never lets me down- I am blown away by her writing talents. I only have to see her name on a cover of a book, to know that I have to read it and that I will love it- every time!
Ms. Lunsford weaves a wonderful, captivating story that kept me engrossed till the very end. The characters are superb- fully realised individuals with their own unique personalities, quirks and flaws. I love the palpable connections that Ms. Lunsford creates between her characters. But, she doesn’t make things too easy on them either- they work for any happiness they get. Ms. Lunsford doesn’t give it away- she makes them earn it. 😊
Callie and Bronson are young love at it’s finest. Add in the mafia aspect, some drama, a little suspense, romance, and a few surprises- and this story had me firmly in it’s grasp, avidly following along right till the end. This is the first book in a trilogy and so once I hit the last page I immediately started on book two. That’s the great thing about this trilogy, is that all the books are available now, so there is absolutely no wait between books. #winning 😊
If you love mafia romance, great characters and an enticing storyline- then this book will satisfy your cravings!
As always, I look forward to more from Ms. Lunsford!

Thank you, Ms. Lunsford!

I have to say that I was a bit dubious before reading this book. I didn’t think I’d enjoy a book set in the world of the mafia. I’m so glad to say that I was so wrong. I loved this book. The story and the characters gripped me from start to finish.
Bellissimo Fortuna is the story of Bronson Agosto, son of mafia family boss Joseph Agosto and Callie Locati, daughter of Joseph’s underling Frank Locati.
Callie and Bronson have been friends since they were young children, with Callie being the best friend of Bronson’s younger sister Bianca. Since they were young children Callie has had a major crush on Bronson. The story begins when Bronson is 18 and Callie is 16. Callie’s evil father Frank promises Callie to his horrible right hand man Marco. Upon hearing this Bronson asks his father to intervene as he is of a higher rank and subsequently Callie is promised to Bronson, much to the anger of Callie’s father.
In my opinion one of the things that makes a great writer is not just how much they get you to fall in love with the hero and heroine (which I did) but also by how much they make you hate the villain of the story and I have to say that I HATED Frank with a passion. He causes so much angst and heartbreak for Callie and Bronson.
There are so many twists and turns in the story and I was totally gripped from start to finish. It also takes you through a roller coaster of emotions. It was funny, thrilling, full of suspense romantic, sexy and downright bloody sad in places. Keep tissues handy for the latter part of the story as you will need them.
Following on from this is Bianca’s story with Dakota, a friend of Bronson’s who we meet several times in Bellissimo Fortuna. If it is anything like this book then I know I’m going to love it too.

Bellissimo Fortuna (Beautiful Fortune) (Family Trilogy Book 1)

By Leigh Ann Lunsford

5 Stars (only because I can't give more)

I don't even know where to start about this book, so I'll start with this author who is Brilliant, I've only read the Parker Siblings series before this and had fallen madly in love after that but now..Holy Moly, I can't find the words for how much I love this author, she writes in a way that feels real...It's not always cupcakes and candy and the way her characters communicate just seems so so realistic.

I loved everything about this book, even the sad times and the times that I got so angry I wanted to punch something. Bronson and Callie are right at this minute my favorite book couple, I don't like either one more than the other, they were awesome each on their own but together they were an explosion of everything I love about reading!!

The stories of their families were amazing and his Mom, Dad and sister Binks had me wanting to adopt myself out, even with the business the family was in. I only have a handful of authors that write the type of alpha male I love and Leigh Ann Lunsford is one of them, Bronson was all soft, squishy, loving, controlling, protective, bossy and sometimes a total d***, but I loved him, and Cally was everything she needed to be to put up with him, even during the worst times.

I could literally sit here forever and just keep babbling about this book, I'm going to end this review right here and tell you that you HAVE to read this and if you've never read any of her books..What are you waiting for?! She is amazingly awesome!! Now off I go to get part 2 of this series because there's a story regarding Binks and Dakota that absolutely needs my attention.

Bellissimo Fortuna (Beautiful Fortune) (The Family Trilogy Book #1) by Leigh Ann  Lunsford is the first book in this series. The story is intriguing and will have you on the  edge of your seat as you ride the roller coaster. I found my heart pounding as I  navigated the twist and turns that you don’t see coming. I was immediately drawn to  the characters and I loved the easy bonds and friendships and the love and loyalties.   This story has it all, romance and love, suspense and mystery, drama and heartbreak  that left me feeling emotional. It is very intense at times but a beautiful story.     If you enjoy a romance that has it all then grab a copy and settle in and enjoy the ride.

Omg this book was everything! I loved Bronson and Callie in this book and all they went through to be together.
I felt every emotion with this book and like with any other book by this author I had to finish in one sitting (sorry children lol)!

I dont even want to say anything about this book for fear of ruining this amazing story. The love, the family business, the drama, it all made this book the amazing piece of work that it is. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series!

Whoa. This book left me absolutely breathless. Action packed. Full of romance. Teen to adult. Life transitions. It felt real and raw in many places. Bronson and Callie were beautiful to read about and follow. I adored this book and cannot wait to continue reading this series.

Bellissimo Fortuna is book one in the Family Trilogy by Leigh Ann Lunsford. I always get excited when books written by this author come my way. The expressive exquisiteness that is poured into each and every character is unique and powerful. Leigh Ann has opened up a whole new world for me.

Bronson and Callie’s love is what every girl dreams of. A man who loves her totally and unconditionally. A woman who would take anything for the man of her dreams. Their's was a dangerous and volatile world where surviving was questionable and a love like they had was non existent. Danger and uncertainty was a constant companion, but one thing only grew in strength. Their love and devotion. Sometimes that isn't enough, and extreme measures need to be taken to ensure safety and happiness.

I was I was in heartbroken bliss reading this deadly, yet passionate story of a love that could never be broken. I was drawn like a moth to flame. I always reach the end losing a bit of my heart to each of these characters. Often difficult to wrap my head around, Bellissimo Fortuna was a gripping and emotional tale that I totally lost myself in. 5 stars.
