The prose is great. The setup is excellent. But, man, the ending is such a disappointment. Luckily its a relatively short and breezy read, and i can still recommend it as worth checking out.

A quick audio listen for me, mixing horror, mystery, family issues and intrigue. It was a good bite even if the ending could have been a bit more solid.

Oh man, this was creepy. Very much in lane with what Flynn typically writes (think gone girl), but the gothic/literary take on it was just immaculate. Had me literally holding my breath.
