Amazing! Second favorite in the series now, mist and fury being first. It is more plot and war based than character based which I didn’t think I would love as much as I did. I’m not one for battle scenes, reading them can be tough to get through, but I loved these. They were so descriptive and made me feel like I was watching it through a screen. Didn’t think war would be one of my favorite things about the book but the writing was just perfect. And the character building; even with less character building focus, it was amazing. It was found family mixed with actual blood family and it was beautiful. Amazing

I truly found the second and third books of this trilogy to be incredible. The way Maas describes Velaris and every relationship (platonic, romantic, or otherwise) is with such fondness and precision.
I even loved Tamlin's small redemption arc at the end.
. I rated this book slightly higher than the second (I pretend the first doesn't exist) because it's beautiful to see Rhys's and Feyre's healthy relationship grow into something stable. I wonder if Maas wrote the trilogy this way to make these later stories so much more meaningful. Mor's revelation, the sacrifices at the ending, the building romance between
Nesta and Cassian - even the complicated tryst between Elain, Lucien, and Graysen...
It was all worth it. I hope the tv show producers make this world as diverse as I imagined it. This was stunning, and I want to escape into the warmth of this little crew again and again. Perhaps what makes this unique POV special is that the rest of the characters are surrounded by longing.
from Tamlin, to Mor, to Helion, and Lucien (that plotline I want to see wrapped up).
. Nothing is guaranteed in this world, which makes the fierce love all the better. Even the squealing amongst friends at reunions was a pure delight. (Also, did anyone else notice how Maas is so into scents?)
The scene with Rhys rubbing rosemary onto Feyre's back was really heavenly.
. Beautifully done.

Really did not like this book. That being said, the war/action scenes were really well done
