slow start but second half of the book is more than 5 ⭐️ when it gets going it doesn’t stop and that ending had me in bits - first book to ever make me cry (and many times)

★★★★★ 2 year re-read! I loved this book even more the second time around. I think I was so hungover from the high of Mist & Fury the first time around that I didn’t take the time to appreciate the details in world building and depth of foreshadowing.

Not only is the author problematic on multiple things such as racism, but also a Zionist. Absolute bullshit. These books are full of wrong politics and propaganda. Anyway, Free Palestine

Took me a bit to finish it & stay on task due to work/home life on my end. BUT I really love this book series, this has been by far my favorite book so far. Its not just the spice for me thats an added bonus. I love the adventure, all of the characters, even cry baby Tamlin and mean ass Nesta LOL.. I love Feyre and Rhys together and seeing her character flourish. Overall I love being taken off into foreign lands, seeing the good/bad/ugly with it all and the characters. Theres Spice, Humor, Love, Loss, Even More Adventure/Fighting. I love an author that can take me on a journey where I actually feel like I am there, can relate to the characters & get attached to them; Its just a great feeling. Truly loving the series so far. Sorry I dont put a lot of detail I dont wanna spoil it for others. If I could give more than 5 stars I certainly would. ❤️

This book does friendships and found family very well. I am so here for them. The first half was so slow. I had to get the audiobook after that just to be able to finish because otherwise it would take me even longer than what I did take me which was a little over six months.
