OOOFTAH

This book was definitely erotica. Steamy steamy steamy. It was hard to say you got to know the characters on a deep personal level - the story was mostly sex scenes. I did like that the authors use (and I am going to sounds dumb here) big and uncommon words. Which was fun for me.

Just re-read this book because I’m a huge fan of this author and I like to use her as inspiration.

I don’t know what to say about this… super spicy, great couple that work well, what more could you want?
I really enjoyed the format of this, each chapter felt almost like a short story in itself which would make this the perfect book to dip in and out of especially if you struggle to put books down which I do.

LOVED THIS. It wasn’t super critical or complex but it felt so genuinely raw and real. I was literally yearning for Eric’s POV because I LOVED how he was written, but I get why it was just Nate’s. I actually really liked the format of the longer chapters as a compilation of what were once author newsletter short stories. Some reviews said too much spice, but if you consider that each chapter is an essentially it’s own little story then it makes sense. I really loved it, and it didn’t feel off-balance compared to the rest of the story if you understood the narrative structure. The spice was really well written too. Overall I feel like this was a super well-rounded emotional and heartwarming and still spicy love story. I loved Nate’s awkwardness contrasted with Eric’s control, his dialogue is so smooth I was swooning the whole time. The confessions at the end were sooooo good too considering I usually cringe at those kinds of love proclamation scenes. And this had a third act breakup without really having a third act breakup (which was great because it’s one of my least favourite tropes; it was well done). Highly recommend for a quick, spicy, feel-good, read.

I feel like there was some lore that I didn’t know about, like maybe it was a sequel to something else?? Idk I was very confused and didn’t really enjoy it ;-;

Holy. Shit.
This book. THIS BOOK.

I absolutely LOVED this book and both Nate and Eric. Bi-awakening is my favorite thing in the whole world and Neve definitely delivered. Also, I absolutely LOVED the absolute filth that these men came up with. I mean, whew. Dirty talk? Yes PLEASE. Did it get repetitive with all the sex? Nope. But then again, I honestly love a good filthy read.

Also, I really enjoyed when Eric finally let down his guard and asked Nate to name his terms on being together. LIKE FINALLY.

“What you said in my room that night about whether I could get over you? I can’t. I’m fucking wrecked. I want to be with you, asshole, so name the terms, because I can’t do it for you. I can’t make any of these choices for you any more than I can stop wanting you. I thought I could and I can’t. It has to be you who makes the call.”

10/10 highly recommend.

This was an enjoyable read, though a bit forgettable. Eric and Nate had an interesting story, with minimal drama. They are roommates who explore their relationship in secret and have to deal with the newfound bond as well as the secrecy aspect.

As I said, an easy read, good palette cleanser.
