I was wanting a good fantasy YSA about pirates and I’ve heard many good things about this book. I enjoyed this book and the plot of it, I think it immediately goes Into the action and plot of the story. I do think it’s a little lacking in the middle of the book. There is some romance, some slow burn stuff. & of course some plot twists. Overall a good read.

This was a re-read so I could be reminded of the characters for the latest release. 

This book definitely didn't change my life or anything, but I sure as hell had a good time reading it. It's a great summer read with will really transport you aboard a ship in the open sea. The whole pirate thing is just pure fun and adventure. Alosa and Riden have entertaining banter. I would've preferred more world-building and some deeper character complexities, but I also respect the decision to make it a fast-paced book.

It was so fun to read and such a quick read I couldn't stop reading it! I love Riden and Alosa are so cute I love them! And Alosa is such a queen omg I love her and her crew so much I am so excited for the next book! This book was really fast paced and was captivating!

This book had me giggling and kicking my feet. There are some awful characters (they're pirates so some of them are shit heads) but I thoroughly enjoyed the characters and the story! I had a great time with every page!

I found the premise of the book to be quite interesting, but most of the story takes place in the same setting, and there were a lot of repetitive storylines throughout the book (which is somewhat difficult to explain without spoiling the plot). I think that this book ended with great potential for a sequel, however, and I do look forward to reading that.
