This is genuinly disappointing. I've had this series on my shelf for years, saving it for the right moment and decided to read it for a prompt. And I was so so underwhelmed. I didn't really enjoy it. The writing was fine, but the characters were annoying to me. 

I'll be unhauling the entire series soon.

A fun read. My favorite part about the book was all the side tangents it would go on to expand the world. Sometimes they would tie into the plot and other times they would just be funny stories. They kept me on my toes and amused. I don’t think I pulled anything from this book that changed my views or made me think too much, but this was great for a fun adventure through the galaxy.
