Miss Penny Reid, I love your books with every fiber of my being! They're clever, romantic and spicy in the best way possible!
This one is so far my favorite in the series (and that's big because usually it's downhill from book one, but it's not the case). Characters are complex and well thought out, real people with real problems. And relationship between two mc is so beautiful, I just can't even! Also, as with every book, there is foreshadowing for the new one and I can't wait to read it!

Why are so many of these parents and families so awful.
Jennifer was so exhausting in the first 3/4 of the book. I had the hardest time liking her character. I know it was a result of the way her parents treated her but still, I need characters with backbones and also smarter. She didn't even have a bank account?? At 22??
But gotta love the Winston family. They're cute and Jennifer came a loooooong way.

Great characters
I read a lot of books in a variety of genres. So I like romances with HEA. This one had great characters - I absolutely loved getting to know them. Even though it is obviously part of a series, you can get right into the story, and still feel like you know what is going on. You want to like these characters and enter into their world. This was one of the best romances I’ve read for a while.

Light romance in an unusual setting. All the relationships are fun to read about, not just the romance
