I read this book for school and was just overall not a big fan, one because it was a book for school and two it was quite confusing. With that being said I have learned more about Native literature and their writing style since reading this. So, I think that if I were to read it again I would enjoy it slightly more and understand it better.

The timeline of the story weaves in and out like the tide, and captures you just as quickly as the undertow. Robinson captures the heartaches of the living and the dead and mixes tales of tradition with modern life, keeping you turning page after page.

Can't believe this is her first novel, it's a gift.
