I really do love this series. I love the characters, I love how simple and sweet it is.
I see some reviews that feel that nothing happens in this series, but this is a slice of life shojo... so things are happening. It's just not a high stakes at all times kind of story, set in an older era.
I love the friendship between Shirayuki and Obi. I love how they work together. Little Ryu is so cute and I love that Shirayuki has no issue at all that her boss is at least 10 years younger than she is. She just respects his position and does what she can to help him.
I am also so happy that Zen and Shirayuki aren't going to spend two years completely apart. They are so cute

This volume definitely took a different path then the previous ones. It just felt kinda boring to me because there was less action then we normally have been getting. This volume is definitely very word heavy as well. But overall it was still enjoyable to read with many funny and cute scenes.
