A strange read to finish off the year but also maybe cool? Like I love reading a white man wonder about what to do with the masses of the labouring poor of London and how to control passions and stuff so that only productive babies come out and so everyone has enough food because humans reproduce faster than agriculture and the land can handle. Truly some awful things about 'savages' and 'barbaric practices' in here and wow I cannot believe that somehow Malthusian thought is still around and kind of believed?! Anyways, a great read to end 2020.
